    The research in Bhatnagar’s group is being currently focused on the interrelationship between aquatic chemistry and water treatment.
    Group is dedicated to develop/optimize energy efficient and low-cost water treatment technologies for safe drinking water supply, sustainable water resource management and protection of aquatic ecosystems. In particular, special emphasis is being given on developing new nano-materials; low-cost sorbents utilizing natural or agro-industrial waste products and tailored sorbents for water & wastewater treatment and resource recovery (metals and nutrients).
